INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISER

All of our advisers have been recruited from outside the industry to date. We are keen to talk to anyone with good numeracy skills and educated to Degree or good 'A' level standard, interested in a change of career path and who share our Company Ethics (see Ethics Page).

We are also prepared to talk to Qualified Financial Advisers at any location in the UK who genuinely share our Company Ethics (see Ethics Page).

  • Advisers either living or wishing to live and work in the South-West
  • Advisers wishing to live in South West but retain a client base elsewhere in the UK
  • Advisers wishing to live and work elsewhere in the UK with their existing client base

Location is not important as we believe our commitment to customer service and strong branding, as well as innovative methods of remote working can support an adviser throughout the UK.

ADVISER QUALITIES
We only wish to talk to those who share our values and you should read our Ethics section now.
In particular we are looking for people who have the utmost honesty and integrity and who are prepared to work hard to delight clients through our efforts to provide value for money and the highest possible service standards. You should believe that the most successful path to a rewarding career is through unselfish customer service rather than selfish short term gain. You should enjoy customer reviews and contact and take pride in good customer feedback.

Part of our ethics is to take responsibility for client asset management, not to delegate to third parties, also to provide recommendations which are wholly right for each individual client, not the most convenient to our business. You should therefore have a good knowledge of different asset class characteristics in terms of risk and reaction to world events.

We expect our advisers to be able to converse freely with clients on world economic events and discuss the effects on their portfolios. In terms of education, three good passes at 'A' level standard would be highly desirable with a leaning towards Mathematics or Economics.
